Learning to Sew

So I'm searching the web trying to find a decent well qualified sewing class.
Along that journey I decided to go to Joann's fabric and craft store one of my favorite places to go for inspiration for arts and crafts, card making supplies, art journaling supplies.
I have had great customer service here for a while and I'm excited about that so far, so I decided to go and check out the sewing machine and price them and I found I like singer brand but its up for discussion and there's a wide variety if prices and style I would like a moderate to advance machine so I can grow with it.
It's not that expensive to start from my experience, by shopping little by little and using coupons.
I so can't wait to learn to see what I like from fabrics to needle variety and there functions.
I would like to practice baby clothing, dresses, shirts, quilting, fashion in entirety for myself and others if they dig my style, cloth diapering ( more on that later)... And just enjoy the whole process and where it takes me after I begin...
